We are still working on our gingerbread unit and having so much fun! We used a free “Gingerbread Science” activity from The Inspired Apple and watched a gingerbread cookie dissolve in water. Once the head floated off, I swear, it was like the 4th of July! The kids laughed and laughed. Should I be worried?!?:) We graphed the part of the gingerbread man we ate first and finished decorating the outside of our classroom! Tomorrow will be the big gingerbread party and my kiddos are so excited that they can’t even contain themselves!
Holiday Decorating!
I love seeing how you have decorated for the holidays! Here are a few more pictures for your viewing pleasure…
Cristina Celzo sent me two more photos. She created a winter bulletin board and I love the peppermint candies hanging from her ceiling!
Cheri Dunn from Springer, Oklahoma sent in her cute picture of her 2nd grade class fireplace and stockings. Cheri explained that she sent the stockings home with her students and they decorated them with their families. Cute!
Carrie Hriblan sent in pictures of her holiday door! She calls it her “Santa Paws Gingerbread House.”
I just love the holidays and all of the festive decorating!

Love the fire place. I wanted to make one this year and I never for around to it. I will have to put it on my list for next year.
