I posted pictures of Tara’s beautiful ocean classroom last night. In one of the pictures, Tara has cute, light blue toolboxes for her students. Tara had these toolboxes in her red, white, and blue classroom last year. They matched perfectly with her patriotic theme because they were originally red and blue! With a little spray paint specifically made for plastic, Tara transformed her red and blue toolboxes to match her new green and blue ocean theme. Tara also added matching labels to her toolboxes to tie the entire classroom theme together. Look at the transformation…
WOW! For a few dollars, Tara was able to transform her expensive toolboxes to coordinate with the new colors in her room. Isn’t this a great idea? I think that sometimes we are afraid to change our classroom because of the cost of buying all new materials and supplies. With a little effort and creativity, changing colors in your classroom isn’t as difficult as it seems!
