Don’t ya just LOVE looking at teacher’s classrooms?!?! This is my favorite part of Schoolgirl Style! I get so excited when I receive pictures in my inbox from sweet teachers willing to share their rooms with all of us!
I would like to introduce you to 4th grade teacher, Colleen Zitzman. Colleen is from a suburb near Fort Worth, TX. Colleen was nice enough to send pictures of her classroom for all of us to see! Colleen has a cute jungle theme in her classroom AND an awesome loft for her students! I actually met Colleen about six years ago when her daughter attended my school. I didn’t have her daughter in my classroom, but I can vividly remember sitting next to her on a bus ride to one of our field trips. I loved Colleen’s spunky and fun personality! Colleen and her daughter moved to Texas after that school year and we reconnected when I started the Schoolgirl Style website. Colleen has been one of my most loyal followers and I really appreciate all of her kind words and support!
Doesn’t her room look cozy? I LOVE the loft! I can imagine that those kids just love to come to school everyday because of that fun environment and their wonderful teacher! Thank you, Colleen, for sharing your classroom with all of us!

I think it is wonderful that fourth graders get to have a loft. How cool for them! Anytime you want out of the snow, Melanie, come on down. There are lots of “warm” people in Texas! 😉
