I had the sweetest lady contact me last night about possibly starting an online decorating service for teachers. Her name is Mary and she teaches in Texas. Mary suggested that I use her as my guinea pig and we could post the before and after photos on my blog. I have to admit, I was a little reluctant since I have a pretty full plate at the moment, but I am always up for a challenge, so I decided to take it on.
Her problem…decorating around the purple, green, and yellow room the school had given her. Yes…you heard me…PURPLE. YELLOW. GREEN. My heart went out to her. I know how awful it is to inherit a room of ugly “stuff.” You don’t have a choice…you HAVE to use it.
So, I am on my quest to help Mary. So far, she has been a wonderful student…and has provided me with entertainment! She has made me laugh so many times today because I am forcing her to step out of her comfort zone with some of my suggestions. I am not sure if I will actually add a custom design service to my shop, but for now, I am happy that I made a new friend!

That is fantastic! I’d love to see the pictures when you get them. How exciting.
