I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was to receive this submission! I was so happy when I saw the photos of these awesome Rock Star bulletin boards and that they were Schoolgirl Style inspired!
The photos are from Jennifer Newton and Jessica Martin from Texas. Jennifer and Jessica team teach at Liberty Eylau Elementary in Texarkana, Texas. This is the first year that their school has used STAAR testing and they have created a school wide theme to pump up the assessment!
Jennifer was inspired by my Rock Star theme! I noticed the double border (L.O.V.E.), guitars, stars, and zebra paper. I really like how they put their own twist on the color combination and the cute star sunglasses on their students! I am sure you will agree that these boards are truly stunning!

where do you find the bulletin board paper with polka dots ? Or even the animal print is cute. I have to decorate my classroom door for a contest and I want something with a wow factor. Any ideas?

I sooooo love this!!!! I work for an alternative school & have K-3rd grade self contained. Our school name is S.T.A.R. Academy & have been looking for ideas to make our room fun even though all our kids are behaviorally challenged. This is awesome & can’t wait to do this with our kiddos 🙂
Where did you get the guitars, or how did you make them?

Great inspiration ladies! I am planning a similar one for my pre-k classroom. I want to find and print out some cut-outs of guitarists, singers, drummers etc. I will replace the faces with photos of my kids’ faces! Can’t wait!
